The world of land surveying is evolving rapidly. Where previously only traditional measurement methods were used, today we combine traditional land surveying with drones, 3D laser scanning, and digital data processing.

At TOPO4D, we do not believe in a single standard approach. Every project requires a well-thought-out strategy, tailored to the objective, accuracy, and legal context.

Step 1: Analysis of your project

Every assignment starts with a thorough analysis.

• What is the purpose of the measurement?
• What level of accuracy is required?
• Are there legal implications?
• What output is needed: plan, point cloud, volume calculation, monitoring, or report?

Based on this, we determine which technology is most suitable:
traditional surveying equipment, drone surveys, 3D laser scanning, or a combination of techniques.

Step 2: Efficient field measurement

Depending on the assignment, we work with:

• Total stations and GNSS for boundary determination and legal files
• Drones for fast field measurements and volume calculations
• 3D laser scanners for complex structures and buildings
• Monitoring equipment for continuous follow-up

Drones play an important role in this. They allow us to map large or hard-to-reach areas quickly and safely. This not only increases efficiency but also limits risks on-site.

Step 3: Digital processing and analysis

The raw data is processed internally into usable output:

• Orthophotos
• Digital terrain models
• 3D point clouds
• DWG/DXF plans
• Legally substantiated reports

Through our combination of land surveying expertise and advanced software, we guarantee accurate and interpretable results.

Step 4: Clear reporting

A measurement is only valuable if the output is delivered clearly and correctly.
